Question: how to grind a claw blade?

I've come to like claw like blades (i.e.: like a scythe) which is a very handy blade shape for some uses.
But, I can't find a decent way to grind a good one.
I tried lengthwise on an 8" wheel, and on the edge of the wheel, but the result is anyway from crappy to sloppy.

I already figured out that LIGHT curvature is easier than STRONG curvature, but unfortunately I like strong curvature, and I'd like to learn to grind a decent one. Any advice is welcome.
