Question of value

I noticed that Ray Rogers is no longer taking orders for custom work. This led me to wondering about something. In 2008 Ray made an MKII for me. I had him increase the cutting-edge from 3 inches to 4 inches. I believe that this is the only one of its kind in existence. Not that I want to sell (I don't), but just in case of financial emergency, I like to know if the material-possesions that I have are of worth. The original cost was $475. Anybody have any clue as to the value of this knife?

The first photo was taken when I received it, and was before I had the scales laser-etched.

I'm not a mod or anything, but there's like a big all-caps stickyat the top of the forum addressing posts like these.

Yes Nap is correct, "how much is my knife worth" threads are not allowed.
I will say though that the value has been diminished significantly by your application of the etching.

I agree, the inscription dropped the price to an unknown low level. You should have left it be if you wanted to resell...but it's a great personal piece, so keep it. :)
