I have a Buck Trapper 1991 ABCA folder. It has beautiful turquoise, (bone?), scales. The tang is marked Buck 312X. The blade is etched "1991 ABCA Limited Edition". " *one of 1,500* ". One of the bolsters is stamped 0029. I have to admit, it is one of the better quality and most beautiful Bucks I have ever seen. Does it have any collector value? Thanks.

I forgot to add, it has two blades. A meaty spey and a clip point. The clip point blade has the etchings. Thanks.

Gene,
I did a quick check and found a 312 that we did in 1991. We only made about 960 of them though. THis might be yours but i will have to do some more research to be sure. I will let you know what i find out.

Take care,

Joe,
Thank you so much. Please let me know what you find out and I really appreciate it.

We did that knife for Bruce Voyles in Chattanooga Tenn. He was the Publisher of BLADE magazine at the time (since sold). Bruce still does knives on the shopping channel. He has a listed number in Chattanooga but I can't find it right now. He would probably buy the knife. I can't give you a value but I would guess at $75-125. Jim Parker at Bulldog Knives also buys these and he has a web page. I'll look for it and get back to you if I find it.
