Question on Buck sharpening AG Vanguard.

The little paper that comes with the AG says Buck will sharpen the knife free of charge. If the logo and black finish is off of it will the still sharpen it? I mean it does still have the S30V and BOS stamp on it. Does anyone know?

...Guess ya might actually be using that AG huh?...LOL...As long as it has a blade I wouldn't worry about it too much at all...Sharpening that black stuff and logo is always harder anyway......Send 'er on in...:thumbup:

Yes it got pretty scratched up last winter.It became really nasty looking . So I ended up taking the rest of the finish off with some 2000 grit sand paper. I've dulled it up pretty good. Its so so sharp but not razor sharp. My thinking is if I'm going to have s30v I want it razor sharp.
