Question on Buck SPA treatment

Havas buck stopped using the spa form? Last two I sent in required a form. Checked recently but could not locate the form.
Thanks
I do not have a printer. I’ve always used their form as a guide and neatly hand printed a letter (in the same format as their form). Then sent a check. One time they wanted more they returned my knives with a bill. So I mailed a second check.

On second thought I think they called on the phone explained the extra charges I agreed sent in a check. Pretty sure I had the knives before they had the check.

Gave them my cell phone, and my bladeforum ID.

I apologize about the long turn around time through Warranty. I am working on a getting SPA turned out faster than repairs. We just got behind around Christmas and trying to dig ourselves out. My hope is to have SPA's in and out in 7-10 days and repairs 2-3 weeks. But we do have BCCI 35th anniversary this summer where we do a lot of SPA's. Our warranty department is a small group who do an incredible job. Our repair tech who has worked for Buck for 47 years now has an apprentice that has been with us for 11 years building the 100 series fixed blades.

A couple of years ago I sent in an OOP Maverick, and it came back in beautiful condition.

I too am never in a rush to get back a SPA treatment, Much prefer they done right than rushed. Buck has seemingly always had a rush around Christmas.. We understand that. The SPA folks do a good job for us.

Just bought a 709 Yearling on the Bay to send in when I get it.

Here's what the pile side looks like. Small blade tip broken, rough dink by nail nick on small blade, and dark coloration on main blade edge. Off to Buck tomorrow. Will check back in when returned.
