Question on CUDAs

Should all the quick action CUDAs have a washer under the thumb button ? I have a couple that have washers and a couple that dont.

If I remember they were added as an after thought toward the end of the production.
It allowed for a looser tolerence on the G10 handle thickness.

Bottom line, if the knife opens quick & smooth, don't worry about it!
