Question on Fairbain Sykes Dagger

Hi Guys,

I'm making a FS Dagger, but never having seen or handled one, all I can do is go by pictures. My question is, how wide is the blade? It doesn't appear to be more than 3/4's of an inch wide. Hoping one of you collector fellas can help.
