Question on framing a tang

I am rehandling a cane knife for myself that belonged to my late father. I plan to use 3/8" natural canvas micarta for the handle material and 1/16"(same thickness as the blade) ghost jade G10 for my frame. I use GFlex epoxy and additionally plan to use 3/16" chain ring bolts. My concern is I will only have 1/4" of G10 frame around my tang with only 1 chain ring bolt going through my frame material.

add one more chain bolt toward the end of the pommel, or put two 1/16" pins through all 3 up near the guard. if it was my knife, i would not use the middle pin on the tang, measure the space between the remaining two tang pins, then move the one that goes through the three layers the same distance away. then i would measure the distance between the top tang hole and the guard, divide by two, and put the two 1/6" pins there.

Thanks, I was hoping to avoid putting the 1/16 pins but you are correct it does need them.
