hi,i carry a small knife on my key ring in case i need a backup ,sometimes i forget my regular knife. Awhile back i got a box of knives which included an odd knife to me green yellow handles unused condition with a weird thing on the end. Sold it on ebay and than found out it was a imperial knife with a pen on it,sorry i sold it . My question is i want another because a lot of times im caught without a writing utensil, and might bid on one but where if anywhere or any ideas on replacing the cartridge when it runs out of ink.By the way to me i think it was a pretty novel idea, and its the perfect size for my keyring, thanks

One of the members here has a large collection of those multi colored little cuties. Neat knives.

On my imperial 'pen' knife, I simply cut off a partially used ballpoint pen refill and stuck it in, worked fine.

I have a few...

Thanks for the info,i thought of that but didn't know if it would work, glenbd,if i dont get the one im bidding on i;ll send an email,by the way i think the one i sold had a bail on it,does yours have signs of any of your pen knives had bails on them?thanks.

With the exception of the utility pattern shown at the top of the picture, and the one in the lower right hand corner (which is German made, by the way), I have never seen a bail on the tu-tones. I also have the "pen" knife in non tu-tone versions, and haven't seen those with a bail either.

I will go thru the rest of my pile-o-knives and see if I have one hiding in there.

Nice knife I have a few with the pen....Note I use the Capital "I"..just when "I" refer to myself. Thank you

Thanks Teach!! And what's the best way to use a semicolon? ;):D

I personally find it a pain in the arse to constantly hit that shift button, half the time I'm too quick on the draw and have to correct half of what I typed! Note how I've had to edit this post two times:o:)
