Hello I just got my first sebenza in the mail today.I herd on some posts that you shouldn't flick open the knife but i couldn't see anything on it from the chris reeve web site. Could someone help me out.
Theres "wrist flick" and "thumb flick". Wrist flick is when you open the blade a little an fling your wrist hard to snap open the blade. This is not
advised and over time will degrade the integrity of your knife. Thumb flick on the other hand is when you just use your thumb by flicking it without
any other momentum. This is perfectly fine to do with your sebenza.
Please note that excessive flicking of the blade will also produce a rough action. Continuous wrist flicking will eventually damage the lock because the stop pin and back of the blade are not designed for that sort of continual shock.
