Question on Schrade Muskrat

I have a couple of the 77ot muskrat's. One of them has "Improved Muskrat" on the blade and the other doesn't have the marking. Anyone know what the difference is and when they either started or stopped adding the blade marking?

Thanks Phil. That was a lot of info. The two that I have are both brand new knifes so I'm wondering if the one without the blade marking was some of the last Schrade production and they didn't bother to mark it. Both knifes are identical with the exception of the marking.
