question on sebenza hardware - screws/pivots etc.

They might out source them but it doesn't matter as they may be purchased through CRK.

Other than the sheaths and lanyard cord, I can't think of any CRK parts that are not either made from raw stock, or brought in and additionally processed to CRK specifications. Have you ever seen screw heads as nicely polished as the ones on a Sebenza, fresh from a HW store? It's exceedingly difficult, in this day and age of ultra-low cost manufacturing and disposable product lifestyle to find sources for the high tolerance parts that CRK products demand.

I can't recall where I read it, but I do believe that every single part of every single Sebenza is made by CRK, and most parts require some degree of hand finishing or hand fitting. I do not believe that any part, including the screws and pins, is outsourced or supplied by any other manufacturer.

this is true for rick hinderer, but i dont recall this about crk.

of course, i dont recall this topic coming up before.
