Question on small dewars?

That is my understanding too and I have heard some people say that you don't want to dunk the bad into the liquid. Not sure about that.
According to my friend who works with LN every day, the vapor above the liquid is ~-160. So the vapor alone is enough to convert RA. Formation of ETA carbides requires complete submersion and a long soak.

Thanks, I appreciate it..I had located one small dewar with a lid for transport but its about 11 1/2" deep by about 6" wide.It would actually submerge about 95% of the blades completely we do in stainless. It would at least cover the blade(and most of the handle) in pretty well everything.I know it would only last a few days but to be honest if I could use it a few days is more than enough for us..Would only cost me about$10 to get it filled 10 minutes away..Im going to see what I can get it for..Still thinking about it..
