Question. Please advise!!

A little late but I can also vouch for Eezox working great for non food prep blades, goes on wet but dries and cannot be wiped off. Also adds a bit of dry lubrication to the blade, which reduces friction and drag during cuts. Not to mention as a rust preventative it is outstanding...

All good advise.

Anything with a high polish will pick up prints though, glass, chrome and so on, if you want to reduce the prints maybe a hand sanding ? or bead blast.

No not too late thanks. It's my first Busse. I plan to keep it for life, so if I have to try a couple different products I'm fine with that. I'll check if I can get that at the local hardware.
