I have just recieved my FBM LE #952 (Pics will be posted)

OMG  I have seen small cars built with less steel than this thing. It's BIGGGG !!!!

It's my first Busse and most definately NOT my last. :D :D :D

So now I want a leather sheath for it. I have been looking at a number of sites and all appear to be very good.

I am hoping that you guys could post pics of your FMB's with leather sheaths so i can see what you have done and hopefully use this as a guide to get the best design / fit.

Feel free to offer suggestions and your ideas on what I should do.

Thank you in advance.
Frank

This sheath is from leatherman, and can be carried in different positions.

nice score giant, wow you must of had a lot of courage(or faith in bladeforums :D) to buy a $700 from a company you never bought from, but at the end there was NO REGREST!!!:D

on the company store (bussecompanystore.com or bussecombat.com) they should have some recommendations

Thank you to all for the photos and suggestions.

Has anybody got or used the quad postion from Rowes leather?

It looks like it may work well ???

Clone 7- When you take of the dangler part does the ring come off too? If not, does it get in the way if you wear it low rise?

soup monger- Wow- very nice work!

Anyone- is a "pin lock" just what it sounds like? Does that mean it only works for Busses? How are the pins made- what makes them rigid enough coming out of a strip of leather?

Glad that you like the size! Don't make a habit out of it, cuz I want Busse to go even BIGGER :foot:

?

The ring can not come off, but it has never gotten in my way. I wrote the FBMLE alot this summer camping and never had a problem :)

Thanks again everybody.

Soup monger I forgot to say in previous post that your work is great, looks like very nice fit.

Cheers

Have a few drinks with your FBM LE. It will all become clear.

Thanks Frank. :)

I find making sheaths a battle... and wrestling leather onto my fat Mistress was not fun...but it is a lightweight sheath and that's what I wanted.

Dwayne and Chuck's leatherwork is amazing and their sheaths stand on their own as works of art....they are well worth paying for.

My one is simple and utilitarian by comparison..... although it is still tough, effective and lightweight.

Just don't ask me to make you one. :D
