Is it possible to select certain messages from within a conversation chain to delete them in order to free up memory space, rather than deleting the whole conversation thread?

There may be an obvious way of doing this, but this idiot savant can not seem to be able to figure it out!

Thank you, CS~

Now don't quote me and I could be wrong ... but seems to me if you open the conversation thread at the lower left of each post there is a box to check and if you do check it it gives you the option instead of selecting all. But I remember the checked posts were yellowed and I unchecked a couple to save.

I see that box to check and to uncheck for the purpose of reporting and/or coming onto a thread, but I do not see an option that you can select a particular message for deletion or that it yellows. Nevertheless, thank you for your response.
