Question regarding KnifeArt's Carbon Fiber exclusives

Washers? What washers...Oh, you mean these washers!

Yes, they do show themselves proudly! This design is likely be be revised before production. If not, there will be lots of them sitting in inventory. I was lucky to purchase one (pre-production?) at an amazing price from a forum member on the Exchange.

The 25 is still my top pick of the CRKs.

I say it makes a fine collectable!

Awesome. Despite the issues experienced by a few people, I've heard a lot of good things. It's good to know the majority have no problems.

I may hold out for a CF / Damascus large. :)

I have no idea about the spa treatment with CF scales. I do how ever have a large 21 with the CF scale. I would be cautious of the fact these knives are buttery smooth, meaning the handle. I feel like this CF scale is way to smooth it provides zero traction, and thus I don't feel like it can play a "tactical" or "hard use" role. As it feels like it will just slip in hand. While it is super light (3.7) oz I only would feel comfortable cutting tape, box's, or apples for the most part.

That was along my lines of thinking in getting a CF / Damascus version, as I wouldn't want to put a nice Damascus blade through hard use anyway.

My KA CF 21 Seb is half of my carpenter work EDC, the other half being a combo edge Tenacious, RAT, or the like. The latter is the beater knife and the Seb is the cutter--shaving, paring wood and other appropriate materials as well as "...tape, boxes, or apples…." The knife doesn't feel slippery in the least and has a very good grip overall. For "hard use" I have saws, chisels, and other appropriate tools and have never felt the need to stab anyone on the job. The whole "tactical" thing always just leaves me scratching my head….

I once heard a wise man say, "The loser of a knife fight dies on the street and the winner dies in a hospital." :D
