What point are you trying to make by bringing up "American labour"?

Labour costs.
ZT and Emerson are both manufacturing in the USA, with USA wages, and the same base materials...except for the more expensive steel that ZT uses.
If ZT can give more titanium and premium steel for the same or lower cost, well, that's just odd.

That was why labour was brought up.

Well one reason for price differences could be the volume of material each company handles. EKI is a smaller operation then KAI. Some of it is you're also paying for the patented 'wave' feature.

ZT's and Emerson's are all I carry anymore really, my top 2 manufacturers. That said Emerson's aren't for everyone, BUT if you've never owned one and carried it, I'd suggest you give one a try before swearing them off forever, it might just change your mind like it did mine.
