Can one of the experts steer me in the right direction? Just need to replace the bone scale on one of my older lockbacks. Should I just pop rivet out replace scales and use adhesive?

Where can I get the parts to do this and what do you think I should use for adhesive if anything at all?

Thanks in advance.

The rivet/pin won't just pop out. Its most likely been peened and will destroy everything as you dive it through, if you can move it at all.
You need to take slightly bigger drill, and drill the head off of the pin. Then you can drive it out.
After that you can mke the scale, and while good epoxy would probably hold it on, I like to use pins and epoxy.

Matt Shade-thank you for your advice. Where could a rookie like me go to buy the scales and pin? Can anyone suggest a good source for parts?
