hi, just bought spyderco atr c70p knife. can this knife be used for utility purposes even thought the blade tip seems a little thin? thanks

You think the ATR tip is thin? Go check out pics of the Gen 3 Delicas and Enduras, or even the Caly 3, those are thin tips. The ATR has one of the more sturdy tips on a Spyderco.

It's a very utilitarian blade shape. I don't see that tip breaking under normal use. Normal use of course being something you'd use a knife for.
