why doesn't someone make a knife like the old benchmade 975. the emerson cqc7 is nice, but just a tad to small. the microtech socom elete is nice but the hanles scratch. the microtech lcc is nice but again, just a tad to small. just an other inch is all i ask. in fact thats all the wife asks. MOD is just to expensive. am i wrong of is there a potential market out there that someone is missing out on??? there are many knifes out there that are the right size but ugly as hell. i like the look of the socom elite but wish it was a little bigger and had g10 scales. i also with they had made the old benchmade 975 with a high polish blade. that darn bead blasted finish and teflon coating were just about the same. one look at it and you had a scratch.

Take a look at Cold Steel's Voyager tanto line, including the Gunsites.

They are about the same size and shape as the 975, not too expensive if you shop around, and hold up under heavy use.
