Murgun I'm afraid you would be disappointed. Wootz hasn't been made in India for a very long time that I know of.:(
The process to make true wootz was discovered again just a few years ago by a person of another nationality and since then a few other folks have experimented with the material and making it.

Eh i was just gonna use it as an excuse to go to India. I read something somewhere that a college in India has succsesfully created some wootz.

If i ever run across it again il share a PDF document in length on wootz damascus which told of how to make it.;)

Niffty at home project ......as long as you dont burn/melt your home to the groung in the process :(
