Those milk jug sheaths were inspired! :)
 
but like someone else brought up in the thread... if you fall your knife will just pierce through it.. i have an RC6... if that's thing pierces through it i am dead :D...

There are a lot of information on Kydex and how to custom make your sheath...

I know, I know, I'm a kydex bender but I've used leather sheaths in all sorts of conditions and, like 1095 steel, if taken care of properly they can last a long time.
 
cardboard and duct-tape. easily repairable in the field, low cost, flammable... it's always good to have some tinder on hand, right?
