kydex or other materials for rtakII

i've seen milk jugs used as sheaths in this forum but kydex looks nice too

but like someone else brought up in the thread... if you fall your knife will just pierce through it.. i have an RC6... if that's thing pierces through it i am dead ...

There are a lot of information on Kydex and how to custom make your sheath...

if thats what you were asking, a 12 x 12 piece will make a sheath for the rtak

I know, I know, I'm a kydex bender but I've used leather sheaths in all sorts of conditions and, like 1095 steel, if taken care of properly they can last a long time.

cardboard and duct-tape. easily repairable in the field, low cost, flammable... it's always good to have some tinder on hand, right?
