Questions about a classic : the 119 Special

I have always loved the 119. Probably have about 6 of them. Many times you can find a used one in good shape for $35 or less on the bay. I have bought a few in fair shape just to use as knock around knives. Abused them heavily as throwing knives and was never disappointed. They hold up great, never had broken blades or handles. Also never had handles crack or loosen. IMHO $55 for a new one is a steal.
 
In the cut-out pic above in post #2 , I don't see any rivet holes in the tang. So I assume Buck uses some kind of epoxy (or something similar) to hold the tang tight in the handle. Is this correct?

not up and down.....make sense?
