Can you name me a few that have phillips head screwdrivers and regular slot screwdrivers (yes allen heads and torx are a pain to me) that have a better design and have the wave?Plenty of knives out there with better Design that don't require proprietary tools that will void your warranty. All for less and some are even made in the same country.
I still don't understand why anyone would buy an Emerson when it's still easy to find wildly superior Zemersons like this customized 0630:

I own multiple examples of both, and I don't see how anyone could think ZT's Emerson collabs aren't better built than Emerson's own knives.
IMO, they are not worth it.
Overpriced compared to other options
Lackluster fit and finish
Chisel grind on wrong side
154cm being sold as high end steel
I’d look at a spyderco military or paramilitary, benchmade, Gerber military line, or cold steel before Emerson Again. I’ve had a few Emerson’s and all have been the same. I have yet to need to adjust any of my knives past the first couple of days, locktite and their good so the easy to adjust hardwear is moot. Emerson knives seem like their trying to squeeze the most money out of a product because “military”. I’ve yet to meet many military members who can/want to drop 200$ plus on an knife when there are so many other great options for less.
I really didn't like the 630 and 620 I had...
Sure they were pretty but they just didn't have the feel of a real Emerson plus the detent strength was way over the top.
The zt0630 doesn't flip. It has no flipper. It has a wave and a thumbdisk.I owned three of the ZT 0630 and the detent was to hard on them to flip. Which means I could only wave them. That is like carrying a gun that jams on you. I wouldn't depend my life on it. So I sold them.

So yea, its flipping action sucks![]()
I've had multiple of every zt Emerson collaboration, I've modded and tested them in a variety of ways. Not much I don't know about them if we're being honest. I carried them for years.HA HA! You right. My bad.
I meant the detent was too hard to open with the thumbdisk.

Torx and Allen aren't proprietary. Flat Head and Phillips are horrible designs, easy to slip, easy to strip. Can you name me a few that have phillips head screwdrivers and regular slot screwdrivers (yes allen heads and torx are a pain to me) that have a better design and have the wave?
Okay lets leave out the wave. Just tell me some top ones without the wave and are just for utilitarian use.
Super Commander, Any of the bowie styles, or Horseman would be nice to see.I’d be nice if they did more collabs with Emerson. One knife design with two blade variations is not enough. (Not counting steel differences like the 620cf)

Wave feature is useless. Unless you're in the heart of Chicago or Detroit you don't need a wave even then you'll be shot before you pull out your knife and attack.
Don't try and defend Emerson when there's nothing to defend.

.
It's useless in any real-world application. Sure it's useful as a novelty bottle opener but the sharp edge of a table can do the same.I'd like to see a liner lock collab. Not a fan of framelocks as I prefer scales on both sides.
I find the wave makes a handy bottle opener. So unless your a heathen who drinks beer from a twist off bottle or a can it's not useless![]()
I think you're talking to the wrong person... I've never mentioned anything about handle thickness.I notice ZT has a tendancy to make the handles much wider in the spine side of the handle to the side the blade comes out of dimension.
If you look at horseman vs 630 or xm18 vs 562 the handles are much wider in that dimension on the ZTs.
I don't think you have thought it through that Emersons are beaten by any company and yet you still pay more for something that is poor in every category.Either you are jesting or you seriously have not thought this through.
