Questions about machete.

I found shorter, broad bladed machetes, to be more usefull than the longer ones (in my environment, of course).
I tend to use cheap ones like the Tramontinas, but the ones I've found to be really great are the Colombian Ciriri (made by INCOLMA), Águila or Gavilán Colorado. They are all factories set up as subsidiaries of Solingen knifemakers to supply machetes to South American countries. The steel is quite good and holds a good edge.
