I just recently purchased a BM Mini-Pika for EDC. I can honestly say at first I didnt think this knife would be a one-hand opener.
A little pivot screw adjustment and a 2 drops of Break-free took care of that problem.
As far a closing, I found a sure fire way to one hand close it. Firmly press the meat of your middle finger on the lock release (2nd joint), squeeze between that finger and youre thumb and GENTLY fold the blade closed with the tip of you're index finger (without forgetting to move you're thumb of course).
A little practice and it is a piece o cake.
Disclaimer....This is considered to be a two hand closer. This is just what I do,
out of the necessity of having a one hand EDC.
