Hey everyone!

I have a ZT0566 in the mail that will arrive in about a week. I am very excited, and am wondering three things before it arrives, which may have been covered elsewhere, but I figured I'd ask:

Is there a blade stop pin or do the thumb studs act as a blade stop?

Does it deassist well (is it easy to do, is the detent good)?

What is your overall impression of the knife?

Thanks in advance!

1. Thumbstud is blade stop.
2. Mine was deassisted with great success, as many have. It flips very well. Can't speak for all.
3. Overall impression: Thin, ergonomic, great overall size, good F&F. Just a great EDC blade. Some would say it's heavy for its size, but that's to be expected for being SS lockside instead of Ti.

The knife is perfect de-assisted. Overall opinion is it is perfect except it weighs as much as a dump truck.

I love mine. The flipper was rather difficult at first but it lightened up quite nicely with use. I left the assist in place. Fits my hand perfectly. I like the heft of it, makes it feel substantial. The blade studs are definitely not of any use to open the knife, though. Flipper only.
