Hey, this might be interesting. You folks can ask a question and I will take the list and try to get a answer from the Buck folks present at the Blade Show in Atlanta and then I will come back and post them. Please, keep it short and to the point. I can also likely tell you that getting an answer may depend on who is present at the Buck booth.

Post your question on this thread. Please no personal problem stuff such as , " How come my knife won't close straight." or "I was prying on a old rusty door hinge and my 305 blade broke, why can't I get a new one free." I would rather not have a bunch of request questions like, "Why don't you guys make a fixed blade 110.'

Here is one I have written down already. " What was the reason for switching from Delrin to Valox for model 300 scales."

Anyway throw me a question and we will see how it goes. Again don't get too wild or long winded.

300, thanks for doing this. My question: what is the length of the handle on the Compadre Axe model 106? And just looking at the photo, the face looks to be hollow ground some. Is it? I wish the catalog had a photo of it's sheath. I'm thinking it has a full tang. DM

What was the effect of the Rutland Plywood fire and loss of Dymondwood? Who is the replacement supplier? Is that why the current 113 Ranger Skinner uses solid walnut?

Earl, Thanks. A good job on the photos. Entire handle length maybe 11 1/2"... With the pole maybe 1/4" at the thickest. It looks to be more of a game processing hatchet. Not a wilderness type, working hatchet? Still, a one piece all metal haft and head. I think I could field dress a elk just with that. DM

Are the distribution problems with the 898 Impact anticipated to be worked out, or are the current issues insurmountable? And . . . has it even gone into production yet?

300 Bucks, not a question so much as a request...

- full flat grind option
- drop point option
