How 'bout asking for more knives in S30V, such as the 102 and bring back the 116 also in S30V?

A folding hunter like the 317 in S30V for the 45th anny of the 317 in 2017 :) They got plenty of time:)

I would like to know if Buck is working on or planning any type of special commemorative knife for Chuck Buck and if so which knife pattern?

300 Bucks, not a question so much as a request...

More options for the 110 and 112 in the custom shop including:
- full flat grind option
- drop point option
- bear head option (no rear bolster)
- lanyard hole option
- thin frame option (reduced by 2mm)
- black phenolic scales option

+1
I would also like to add to this list the option of a pocket clip and thumb studs to the custom shop options, and a saber ground blade and a stainless steel frame to the custom shop options as well. And micarta scales.

Maybe a barebutt option as well. We had a club 110 followed by a 112 some years back with this feature and I rather liked it.
Hammer, thanks for using the correct term. Yes, I like these knives. Others members do as well. DM

???

Case, Schrade and GEC all refer to knives with no rear (cap end) bolsters as bare head or barehead patterns. So does every retailer that I know of.

I was asleep at the keyboard and typed bear head as opposed bare head. Sorry for the confusion.

Is barebutt a Buck particular term? Or something particular to BCCI lingo?

I hope I'm not too late.

Buck is now selling customizable 113 Ranger Skinners...is there a way for them to add the option of making this a bolsterless fixed blade?

Going to lock this thread on Sat evening so I have time to organize it and try to get it to fit on one page. I will likely get to talk to Joe Houser, but may have to just hand some of the others the paper because of the press of human bodies at the Buck booth. I will show what I organize at end of this thread. You never know sometimes one or more will go out to eat with a BCCI crowd 300

I think David was just messing with me. I looked back and found this thread when the paperstone 110 came out and it the wording in post #1 is a direct quote it's called a "barehead frame" not barebutt. I like my term better.

Hammer, your term IS the correct term which should have been used for that model. I was applauding you for accuracy in this discussion. As a bare headed model is not what that knife was. DM

300, Thanks for printing this out and taking it to these folks. I'm looking forward to their response. DM

Well thank you Dave 😀

A production or custom shop only version on the locsha.
Either a saber ground, or full fly grind for the vantage series. Saber grind starting where the hollow grind would normally start on the blade. I like that idea for the 110/112 as well.
Maybe a custom shop option as well for the vantage.
