I've just received my first Camillus, A Talon in 154CM. It's a very nice knife, seems well put together, with one exception. The bevels/grinds on the handle scales are very uneven. One side has bold bevels, with one corner being completely ground off. The other has smaller more precise belvels.

Is this problem commonplace? Would I fare any better by exchanging the knife? As I mail-ordered my Talon, I wouldn't be able to inspect the replacement. Your thoughts?

TIA

Wulong,
The blending operation around the perimetr of the scales on the TALON is a hand operations, so some variance is expected, but not "alot". This is up to you....if you aren't happy with the knife, we will be glad to take a look at it and do whatever it takes to make you a happy customer. Sometimes this is best handled over the phone, so if you would like, shoot me an email at

willfennell@camillusknives.com

and we can discuss your/our knife on my nickle! If you wnat to go ahead and send it in, call 800-344-0456 for shipping instructions and returns procedures. The ladies in customer service will be glad to help.

Thanks for being a customer!
