It is also weirdly a future 1950s.Never seen or heard of it. But if I had to guess, it depicts a post-apocalyptic world. Despite my peeves with the Recon 1, it would be my choice if I had to rely on a folder in such a world.
Its actually based on a popular video game with the same name. It takes place in LA some 200 years after a nuclear war destroyed the world in 2077.Never seen or heard of it. But if I had to guess, it depicts a post-apocalyptic world. Despite my peeves with the Recon 1, it would be my choice if I had to rely on a folder in such a world.
This is my reality. What is yours? The Recon and 110 if I have to choose from the folders listed. In reality it would be something completely different
Very interesting! That is a unique perspectiveIt is also weirdly a future 1950s.
So mabye the switchblade. To keep the vibe going.
I like the recon 1 but I find so many small tasks that I would want a slimmer blade to accomplishIf I had to take one of those folders into the wastelands, the Cold Steel Recon 1 for sure. If I could choose one of my own, I'd take my Hinderer XM-24.
don't know his reality, but mine is banana tanto.....This is my reality. What is yours?
In the world of “Fallout” the wasteland is an extremely inhospitable and violent place where you are fighting for survival on a daily basis.I like the recon 1 but I find so many small tasks that I would want a slimmer blade to accomplish
A small to medium fixed blade and a multi toolThis is my reality. What is yours?
I like the way you think. The Buck 110 and the fixed blade you haven't pictured yet.
Yes , but I want to know which two. Which would you take next to the Recon. A popular choice has been the Buck 110, but for me it’s too heavy if I have to be traveling long distancesIn the world of “Fallout” the wasteland is an extremely inhospitable and violent place where you are fighting for survival on a daily basis.
Given that I can apparently only take one folder with me, I would not want a small EDC type blade. I want something as big and tough as possible.
Oh, which two. Ok, in that case, the Recon 1 and the Benchmade.Yes , but I want to know which two. Which would you take next to the Recon. A popular choice has been the Buck 110, but for me it’s too heavy if I have to be traveling long distances
Sounds like someone has been working and playing well with others. If I'm leaving a Vault, I'm going to need at a minimum:
- Quad Gauss Rifle, with buffs for Criticals and maybe damage buff while aiming (maxed Explosive damage perks and Rifleman perks are a concrete necessity as well)
- A Fixer, anti-armor, preferably also with crit buff, and maybe extra damage reduction while reloading
- Possibly a Bloodied Chainsaw (if I'm specced for Bloody/Unyielding at the moment) for close up work
Plus an assortment of Nuka grenades, plasmas as well.
Oh, and probably my CPK Behemother, and a Swiss Army Knife, probably a Farmer X!
I like this choice because it happens to be the lightest. And if I am going out of the vault, I don’t know what to expect at first. I mean it could be a war zone and bloodbath—in which case I’m dead anyway because I don’t have guns. So, the light weight would allow me to travel farther faster.Mercator because it's easy to sharpen and works (stainless or carbon is it?) and the Voyager, because it looks like it could still cut and do some damage at Waterfall-table distance. (? Whatever the card game in the video game is)
