Last night while stamping my initials into a blade, I bent the blade by not properly supporting the area directly underneath. I was able to straighten it pretty much
by hammering the arbor on the opposite side of the bend. My question is with this being a stock removal blade is there any stresses to relieve or be concerned of before heat treat? Any tips to prevent this blade from warping would be appreciated.
Secondly I noticed the flat stock I ordered is bowed towards the end of the stock (48 inch lengths), any tips on how I can flatten the bowed sections?
Thanks for any help guys, being a newbie I appreciate the knowledge you guys share with us.
