I've been studying this knife a little recently, and I may want to get it. I'm not sure about modding knives, but this knife is pillar construction with stainless steel liners and rather beefy pivot and spacers. Here's a picture:

And one of the lock/liners.

(Kleck's pics).

1. Would it be possible to convert this to a frame lock by replacing the back side with a Titanium slab? If it's possible, who could do this?

2. Would it be possible to replace the FRN with a nice grippy G10 or Carbon Fiber slab?

3. Is Steve Rice still doing his low ride clips?

I think it would be an incredible workhorse...4.5 inches of S30V, framelock and G10 a la Hinderer.

That would be a great project, dangreco! It all sounds completely feasible to me.

These Lone Wolf Harseys are wonderful knives. I don't know how I missed them when they were in production. I recently bought a T2 Tactical with Micarta scales and was so impressed, I picked up a couple more to stash away. The T2 is about the largest folder I prefer to carry. The T3 is a beast! :)

Stay sharp,

People have made different scales for the T3. I have not seen any frame lock conversions yet. But it is feasible if you have access to a milling machine and are competent at machine work.

I have a T3 and wish I could pick up another. Great knives.

Hello, I found this thread on the Lone Wolf T2/T3 (Harsey Ranger). I recently lost my dear companion (T3) during a trail in Spain. I'm 'desperately' searching for a replacement but it looks as if these knives are vanished! Anyway, if you have any hint for me on where to direct my attention, I would much appreciate!
Kind regards, Dirk

Fantoni's HB 01 and HB 02 are very similar, designed by the same Maker.

Harsey designs are incredible :D
