20" Ang Khola for splitting and chopping.

18" WWII for utility everything else. This one will handle chopping as well but not as efficiently as the 20" Ang Khola. It is also light enough to do machette work.

Hey Guys, think we ought to ask Uncle Bill for suggestions on this when he gets back, or just ignore him as usual?

I usually ask, listen, and then forget as soon as I see the next purchase seducing me.

Thanks for all the info guys...

I think I'm going to start out with an 18" WW2 and a 25" Kobra (I may have to get the 30" later just for the hell of it!!!

). I may also get a 20-25" sirupati and a 15" AK later on.
How does the BAS compare to the WW2? I kind of like the way it looks a little better...

Anybody have any pricing info on any of these models? I know Uncle Bill is away right now so if I email the HI site is there anyone there to reply??

Thanks!
Orion

Uncle should be back soon. Email, and he will get back to you.

If you like the BAS, they got a batch or two of "giant" 16" BAS's close in size to the 16 1/2" WWII. They may still be available. The WWII 18" is the one a lot of people say is best all around. The 16 1/2" is close enough, but something feels missing. The 15" BAS is a nice (smaller) medium khuk to get started with.
