Interesting. I would think you would need each 110 outlet to be coming off different legs from the service but maybe that's wrong.
ETA: No it's right. Now I see that's their **fine print. But the device tests for that apparently. So it's only "quick" if you have two 110 outlets from different legs close enough together to plug the thing in. Honestly that sounds like a bigger pain than just running a new 220 circuit. But I don't have to deal with silly codes and electricians, I can just do it myself in WI.
