Quick and dirty comparison of Benchmade w/ AXIS vs. SOG w/ ARC-Lock

Hey, Death's Head,
Nice review. I've been looking at those SOGs lately, now maybe I'll have to get one.
The only thing I'd add relates to developing blade play over time. The design of the Arc lock lends itself to developing a little play as the lock mechanism wears over time. Mechanically speaking, though, it isn't much of a problem. The Axis lock, on the other hand, is designed to become more secure as time passes and the mechanism wears.

By the way, who made the titanium "tear jerker" in your signature photo?
