Quick bump question

Can i remove the torsion bar from a speed or spec bump and have the blade stay closed or is the blade held in place by the pressure from the torsion bar itself?

I seriously doubt it. There is no liner or anythng to apply pressure to the blade in the closed position.

if you tightened the pivot you could, but the knife would be hard to open if you did.

You could but you would wreck the washers pretty quick.

It does have a lock that seems to grab the blade when closed, so it might work.

Wouldn't hurt to try. You can have it out and back in,in about 5 mins.

I neutered my Blur, and it worked just fine but then again the Blur did have a decently strong detent. Do the Bumps have detents, because if so im preatty sure it could work.
