how does this motor sound for my 2x72 grinder build. i will be using pulleys. i do not have 220 available. and how much should something like this cost?
 
That motor is on Amazon for like $130. It will do fine for a grinder but you better find out what the shaft OD for the pulley

im gonna go for it.. but for the price i feel something is up. that motor is alot more everywhere else. but ill take the chance
 
thanks for the help. 129 and free shipping seems a lil too good to be true. especially for a new/not used motor. i figured it was worth taking the chance. i could always return it. amazon is good with stuff like that. especially if it was labeled wrong
 
Amazon is like that sometimes. I bought a Leeson 1.5hp a couple of weeks ago for like $115 with prime shipping. Bought the last one, then the next day it was back up in the $350 area where it would normally be. Sometimes you can find crazy deals like that and you have to jump on them right away.
