quick one - cerakoting

Just checking, but it seems to make sense to me to sharpen, then cerakote the knife - and then touch it up if needed. Correct?

I do all sharpening after Cerakote. The blade will need to be blasted with 120X media before the process which will destroy the edge anyway.
 
^ this, plus it's also polite not to cut the cerakote guy.
(They can get dinged waiting to be done, too).
You've probably thought of this, but fit your handles before cerakoting. It's almost impossible (for me at least) to get the fit perfect afterward and you don't want to kiss the tang with a belt.
