Quick question about posting pictures

I was wondering how you insert a picture into a new thread or into a post reply. I know this may sound stupid but i cant figure it out. If you know please post a reply. All ive been able to find is the option "insert image" but then it asks for a URL so im not sure how a picture has a URL. Pleas help

you need to upload them to photobucket (or something like it) then copy the code and paste it into the upload photo window on blade forums, its really easy once you do it a few times:)

ps or buy a membership then you can upload directly from your computer
 
You have to get a picture up on another page and copy and paste the URL in the insert image box. You also need to remove the http:// that's highlighted in blue already. Then you click OK.
 
Also to be clear.

Any picture on the internet can be posted that way.
So if you are making a thread about a knife and want to add a picture, just go to Google image search and put the url in from a picture in the "insert image"option.

If you use Photobucket, as I do, it's easy. Photobucket gives you a choice of 4 different URL formats. Choose the fourth and it will give you the URL ready to paste directly into the Bladeforums post, [ img ] codes already attached for you.

And every time someone calls up the post with their image, it's a hit on their system. Better way would be to copy that image once to your computer or Photobucket account, and use it from there.
