I'm curious about a kydex sheath I ordered today for the little ESEE and I'm hoping you guys and gals can help me out here. I have a couple Candirus and have been considering carrying one as a neck knife. I'm not overly fond of either sheaths offered by the factory so I thought I would give this one a try. Will the TKC scales work with this sheath or will I have to remove them? I'd hate to have to, as I'm rather fond of them.

I own a couple things made by grindworx, every one has had some issue.
Their qc in my experience is pretty poor

Can't speak on the actual sheath you ordered, but the kydex sheath they sent with one of their damascus neck knives, is an amateur job and holds the knife about as good as a glass hold water. Just fine until you turn it over, then it falls right out.

I returned that one, due to an ugly Blemish in the damascus pattern, and the new one I received had the same issue with the sheath. Turn it upside down, and the slightest bump, the knife falls right out... I actually forgot I even own that knife still until this post.

Have a pair of their damascus knuckle dusters, had to return one due to a horizontal split, 100% through the Steel right along one of the damascus lines.

I also have a few shemaghs by them, and the dye work is sloppy...

Not to get you down, hopefully you make out better with your experience, just sharing my experiences with the company.

If need be, there a few great members here in BF that do outstanding custom kydex work. The ESEE being a pretty popular model, one of them might even have one handy to make you a sheath without even having to send it in.
You can also Google search custom kydex to try to find someone local.

Thank you...if it turns out to be a pos I will definitely get in touch with someone on here to hook me up.
