Quick question about the Model 1

To those who own or who have tinkered with the Ontario Model 1...are the thumbstuds easily removable?

If I recall correctly it's simply a torx head screw in the thumbstud.

I should have read the description before posting..

The Model 1 features a 4-way clip position, heavy-duty open post construction, razor-sharp AUS-8 blade, full flat grind, reversible thumb stud, precision pivot screw, lanyard hole, and ergonomic handles

After carrying a waved knife, I don't know if I'd like to go back to a "regular" folder...if that stud can be removed, I can rig up some kind of wave:thumbup:

i use the stud on my benchmade 940 as a sort-of wave.

There is no torx insert on the thumb stud its just rounded. Grab each side with pliers and twist.
