Quick review of Cold Steel G10 AK

Beautiful pictures, and nice review. I agree that it should be made in America, and that that a nicer steel would be good, but AUS8A is still a great steel.

I didn't know you could get these with G10. Is that standard or an optional feature?

The AK-47 does grip one's hand just about as well as any knife out there.

Its an easy DIY job for those so inclined.

Looks great. How did you remove the coating and polish it? I have been through two black knives where I did this but did not get good results at all.

the name is really...disastrous. Imagine using that for SD and being in front of a jury when they tell them that you used an "AK47" on a guy...

My thoughts exactly.

Why would they make a knife named after a gun?

Will we see an officially licensed Colt knife called the "Colt's Government Model Series 70"?

But other than that it looks good.

It's a sick blade. I don't know why people are so concerned with the paint coming off, it gives the knife character. If you pass down your knives to your children and they all look brand new, your kids are going to think you're crazy. If they're well used they tell the story of the man they served.
