I finished this C-guard Bowie today. It is much nicer than the poor photos, and the things that look like scratches are dirt and finger marks. 100 power magnification is brutal on reality ( and/or shows the reality that you can't see)
The photos don't do much, but it really looks good in person.

Blade - platinum
C-guard - 14 karat gold
Handle - ebony
Pommel nut ( yes, it is threaded on) - 14 karat gold

OAL - .758"
Blade length - .400"
Blade thickness - .033"
Blade width - .100
Rope file worked spine

The pommel/tang is threaded 7/0 (# 0000000).

I leave the miniatures out at night and let the mice play war. In the morning there are always dead mice.

I can't even imagine working on something that small and putting so much detail into it. Very nicely done sir!

Very nice!!!! and it makes my eyes hurt trying to work on full size stuff. I can imagine working on miniture
