There's a post about it over in the JK Knives forum. Go check it out if you want. It was based off John's old Bushcrafter Jr. design.
 
I saw that post yesterday, great stuff buddy you picked yourself a fine mentor with John and did an awesome job for your first attempt !
 
That is really cool. That knife will always feel more special when you use it I bet.
