This year at the Annual Quigley Buffalo rifle match held in Forsyth Montana I will be hosting a knife show in conjunction with the Buffalo rifle shoot. the show will be Friday June 17th from 5pm until 8 pm. Other makers involved in the show will be. Shane Taylor MS, Wade Colter MS, Bill Burke MS, Rick Dunkerley MS, Gary House JS Bruce Barnett and myself. Here are couple of links for more information about the largest buffalo rifle match in the world and the largest black powder shooting event in eastern Montana since the custer Massacre. If you would like to be put on the mailing list for a flyer for the rifle match or if you would like more information about the knife show please contact me at tacmedic45(at)yahoo.com.

Man O Man, this would be a fun event to go to. I talked with Bruce Barnett and he told me about the new rifle he just bought while he was in Boise just for this shoot. He said Bill Burke is going to sight it in for him because he didnt fuss with taking it back to Oz. The knife show sounds good too. It sounds like a great way to intoduce some new collectors.

Thanks Bruce, the idea of trying to create some new collectors and introduce the forged blade to a new group was the plan of starting this mini show. The one stipulation for the makers is that in order to do the show you have to shoot the match. I am working on a traveling trophy that will got to the maker with the highest score in the match for that year.

It (the trophy) is Going to be nice too because Shrek figgers it is going to be his for a long time.

Not to concerned Bruce, I watched the movie again the other night and realized Ausies can't shoot that is why they had to bring Quigley down under.

Thats right, they cant fight very good either. Quigley whipped em all the way around. :D

That sounds VERY cool Erik. I live in the wrong part of the country...never anything like that in these parts:(

Well of course he did, cant have the "star" gettin beaten now. I think it was more a case of us not having access to those big ol smokepoles he was using. Anyhow, i guess we will find out on the day wont we;)

That will be so much fun Erik. I suppose Shane has a laser rangefinding scope on his antique buffalo gun! :)

Yall are really making me regret being an East coast-er !

Living 6 miles from the Ocean has it's perks though ;)
