Quigley Buffalo rifle match and knife show.

Yall are really making me regret being an East coast-er !

Living 6 miles from the Ocean has it's perks though ;)

Josh

Don't let that stop ya we have shooters from all over the world that come up for the shoot. If i remember right we had 635 registered shooters last year. with there families and all it is over 1200 people out on the range between shooters and spectators.

Besides a Sharps 1874..what are some of the other rifles used?

high walls and rolling blocks, I think there is a special catigory for trapdoor springfields and another for lever actions and some shoot old calibres in newer ruger # 1, 2 and 3 actions also. there is a scoped rifle class too everything has to be period correct.

One of my Farquharsons will be there too!

Let me know who has it Bailey i would like to get a look at it.

The rules say any single shot or lever action rifle in .375 or larger cast bullets only gas check ok and unfortunately they do allow smokeless powder............but that is only a passing fad the stuff will never catch on............always remember friends don't let friends shoot smokeless.

Eric,

I tried to talk him ( my customer)into a .375 H&H to get a little velocity in his life, but he recited the black powder rule too. So it will be a 45-70. I'll let him chime in if he would like.

The batteries aren't dead, they can't be, because it runs on captured alien technology.

I have been teaching Shane and Shreck my, shoot with your blind eye technique. Erik is doing so well that his son has followed him.

I'm putting my money on Burke. He was a stone-cold-killa' with my Barrett out at Josh's a few years ago. Now, if you guys wanted to step on his trigger-finger.... well, I can't suggest that...
