Quince Wood

Does anyone have a source for quince wood? I've seen it on factory knives from the far east, but don't recall ever seeing it for sale in the USA. Thanks

Darrell Ralph uses quincewood. You might try contacting him through enternet search or bladegallery. He knows the source. I've never seen it. Do you have a pic?

I don't have a picture of it, I think I saw it in Russell's catalog on a couple of knives. Maybe it has a different name in the states. Thanks for the reply.

Me too. I've seen it in the A.G. Russel cataloge on a Loveless or a D'Holder. If you find it let all us here know.
